Individual
Holding grief and hope at the same time
Jul 12, 2026
Many people in faith communities feel pressure to move on quickly after a loss, as though grieving too long signals weak belief. That pressure can make grief lonely.
Grief is the cost of love, not a failure of faith. Scripture is full of lament — honest cries offered to a God who can hold them. Healing doesn't mean forgetting; it means learning to carry the loss with support, meaning, and hope.
Our counselors walk alongside individuals and families through grief at its own pace, without rushing the work or skipping the sorrow.
