FAQ

Questions, answered with care.

If you don't see your question here, send us a note and we'll be glad to help.

Is this counseling clinically licensed, or only faith-based?

Both. Our counselors are licensed clinicians who use evidence-based methods, and they do so within a framework that welcomes your faith. Clinical skill and spiritual care are held together, never in tension.

What insurance do you accept?

We are in-network with Aetna, Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey, and Aetna–Meritain. We also welcome private-pay clients and can provide a superbill for out-of-network reimbursement.

Do I have to be a Christian to come in?

Not at all. You are welcome here whatever your beliefs. We offer faith-integrated care for those who want it, and equally respectful, clinically grounded care for those who don't.

Is counseling confidential?

Yes. Confidentiality is a foundation of counseling and is protected by law. There are a few legal exceptions involving risk of harm, which your clinician will explain at your first session.

What if my faith community needs something custom?

We design programs around your community's needs — from clergy wellbeing to workshops, curricula, and care-team training. Start with a conversation and we'll shape the right fit together.

Are sessions in person or virtual?

Both. Individual, couples, and family sessions are available in person at our Moonachie, NJ office and via secure telehealth. Programs for faith communities are delivered on-site or virtually.
